Silisponge or Beautyblender: The Best Foundation Applicator for Your Buck

For your face to look beat by the beauty gods themselves, first things first, your foundation must be flawless. The key to making sure your makeup looks immaculate is your foundation. Before you read any further ask yourself, does my foundation match my skin tone? If the answer is yes, but you’re still not getting the results you want, then you have stumbled upon the right blog.
Believe it or not, your foundation applicator plays a significant role in how seamless your foundation appears. The most important thing to keep in mind when applying foundation is coverage. The purpose of foundation is to cover any imperfections to create an even skin tone. If you want an even and smooth appearance, you must have the right foundation applicator.

Silicone can be used for a lot of things, but who would have ever imagined using silicone as a way to apply their foundation. In recent, beauty gurus have been using silisponges as a way to apply their foundation. The silisponge is actually a great tool to use to get the most out of your foundation. Let’s be honest, MAC and Estee Lauder cosmetics are kinda pricey. So, wouldn’t you like to get the most out of your foundation? The silisponge actually helps you to use less of your foundation.  The only problem is creating a method to get the best coverage. The silisponge is great for spreading the foundation, but not so great at creating an even appearance.

Let’s face it, the teardrop-shaped sponge may absorb a lot of foundation, but when you have only minutes to apply your makeup, it is a certified life saver. The Beautyblender is excellent for applying foundation under the eyes and providing a very even and polished finish.  In comparison to the Silisponge, the Beautyblender reigns supreme when it comes to blending. The silisponge requires a lot more time and effort for your foundation to blend seamlessly.
Now, the question we all would like an answer to, Silisponges or Beautyblenders? What product gives you the biggest bang for your buck? If you like convenience and don’t mind using a little more of your foundation, then the Beautyblender is definitely for you. If you would like to preserve as much as your foundation as possible and don’t mind creating techniques to apply your makeup, then the silisponge is the applicator for you.
