Workout Anytime and Anywhere

Do you have a tight 9-5 schedule and have difficulty finding the time to workout? Or, are your errands taking up all your workout time? Well, let’s find out how you can still be fit on a tight schedule!

I like to workout!
Finding time to workout on a tight schedule can be difficult, but as always…it is possible. Creating the perfect workout schedule doesn’t come together at times throughout the week because obligations suddenly arise. Even with a busy schedule, it is always important to find time to exercise. It is recommended to set aside 30 minutes of your day for exercise 3-4 times a week. This keeps the body active, healthy and prevents us from falling ill. Even if you can’t go to the gym or park some days, there are other ways to keep yourself active.

1. Count Your Steps
There are so many ways to count your steps throughout the day! This is a way to ensure that you’re moving around and not staying in the same place as the day progresses. There are fitness watches such as Fitbit and Apple Watch that monitor your movement through the day. MyFitnessPal is a free mobile app that helps count your steps throughout the day. The app is designed to set a daily step goal determined by your height and weight. Then the app records each step you take and also shows how many calories were burned at the end of the day.

2. Take the Extra Steps
We all know, sometimes we feel like taking the easy way out. In these cases, we take the elevators instead of the stairs or look for the closer parking spot instead of the one that creates a walking distance. On the days we don’t have time to workout or go to the gym, it’s essential to get in as many steps as we possibly can. This means taking the stairs, parking farther, and even going outside on your break to walk around. Being still only confines us and creates bad habits, so it’s imperative to make a change somewhere!

3.Online Workout Videos
Yes, the internet is great! It provides so many free tools! There are tons of at home workouts on YouTube! If you don’t have time to go to the gym, make sure to go on YouTube before your day ends. There are workouts that range from 10 minutes to 1 hour! My favorite person to exercise with is Keaira Lashae! I love her dancing and kickboxing videos! They make me sweat in my living room …even with the A/C on!

So yes, finding time to exercise can be difficult, but nothing will change unless you give it a try! There is always a way to make sure you’re staying active. All you have to do is create time and learn to discipline yourself. You will begin to see change and feel like a whole new person!
